RFI Issued for Technology to Support Remote K-12 Learning

In response to the pandemic and the increased demand for distance learning, the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) has issued a Request for Information to identify the best possible pricing options for hot spots providers, computers, tablets and software. The result of this effort is a list of products and services from a wide array of vendors. The intent is to provide K-12 school districts with a choice of vendors and products based on price and availability.

Although this effort is targeted towards the K-12 community, we feel our higher education members facing similar problems in distance learning would also benefit from this information. In the spirit of collaboration, the following link to the results of the RFI is being provided. Vendors have until September 7, 2020 to respond, although many have already sent in their responses.

Click here and then proceed to the "Alerts" section. From here, click on "Product and Service List" and download the pricing provided by the various vendors for service.

It is our hope this will provide valuable information for Higher Education members who may also be seeking vendors for these services. Please contact your OARnet Client Services Representative with any questions.
