The Quilt

The Quilt, a coalition of 30 advanced regional network organizations, is a dynamic forum where leaders from throughout the advanced research and education network community build on the intellectual capital and best practices of network service providers worldwide.

EDUCAUSE

EDUCAUSE helps those who lead, manage, and use information technology to shape strategic IT decisions at every level within higher education. Its programs and services focus on analysis, advocacy, community building, professional development, and knowledge creation to support the transformative role that IT can play in higher education.

Internet2

The goal of Internet2 is to bring together institutions and resources to develop new technologies and capabilities that can then be deployed in the global Internet. OARnet is the Ohio GigaPOP for Internet2 and provides connectivity to the Internet2 high-performance network through two 100G connections in Cincinnati and Cleveland (two additional 100G connections will be established in July 2021). 

Keystone Initiative for Network Based Education and Research 
The Keystone Initiative for Network Based Education and Research (KINBER), a Pennsylvania-based non-profit corporation, provides broadband connectivity, fosters collaboration, and promotes the innovative use of digital technologies throughout the state. As Pennsylvania’s only statewide research, education, and community network, KINBER provides network-based connectivity and services to over 135 organizations and programming to many more, including higher education, K12, healthcare, communities, libraries, public media, museums, government, non-profit organizations, as well as commercial organizations consistent with its mission.

Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center
The Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC) is a joint computational research center between Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. PSC provides university, government and industrial researchers with access to several of the most powerful systems for high-performance computing, communications and data storage available to scientists and engineers nationwide for unclassified research. PSC advances the state of the art in high-performance computing, communications and data analytics and offers a flexible environment for solving the largest and most challenging problems in research.

Merit Network

Merit Network is a non-profit, member-owned organization governed by Michigan’s public universities. Founded in 1966, Merit owns and operates America’s longest-running regional research and education network. After 50 years of innovation, Merit continues to provide high-performance services to the educational communities in Michigan and beyond.
 

Ocean State Higher Education Economic Development and Administrative Network

The Ocean State Higher Education Economic Development and Administrative Network (OSHEAN) delivers carrier-class optical transport, advanced IP-based networking and innovative cloud solutions to Community Anchor Institutions and the communities they serve. OSHEAN acts as a key strategic technology partner by facilitating member collaboration and providing best-in-class technology solutions and services that provide operational efficiencies and transform traditional enterprise operating models in support of its members' missions.
