How do I order VMware for my campus?

Download the appropriate Virtualization Order Form for your institution type below:

Higher Ed Order Form (PDF).
K-12 Order Form (PDF).
State of Ohio Order Form (PDF).
Ohio State University Order Form (PDF).

Among the fields on this form that you must complete is a Product Quote Tool that you will use to select the products and services you require and determine the associated costs. Your institution’s OARnet Client Service Representative can assist you in using the quote tool. Special note: the Ohio End-User License Agreement (EULA) negotiated in the master VMware contract supersedes any click to accept EULA embedded in the Software downloaded from VMware.

Mac Users Please follow these instructions before using the VMware Order Form.

1. If you do not have Adobe Reader X, download the software from the Adobe site and install the software.
2. Download the VMware Order Form from the OARnet website (available above).
3. In the Finder Window, Right Click or Control Click on the VMware Order Form file and select "Open With" --> "Adobe Reader X".

Issue a Purchase order, interdepartmental transfer (IDT) or procurement card order.

Issue payment based upon the quote, and submit it with a completed and signed Virtualization Order Form by e-mail, fax or mail to OARnet. Clients seeking to convert maintenance of existing service are required to only complete the maintenance section on the Quote Tool and send the completed and signed Virtualization Order Form with a purchase information to OARnet.
